THE GODS CREATE THE SMELLS, THE MEN MAKE THE PERFUMES

JEAN GIONO

NICOLAS CHABOT
Founder

Intuitive, curious, he gets a kick out of going the long way around.

This is how Nicolas Chabot’s character could best be summarised.

A perfume connoisseur and entrepreneur, he relaunched LE GALION in 2014 before establishing the brand ÆTHER in 2016. His true admiration for fragrances’ distinct ability to capture what surrounds us led him to create HEADSPACE: the olfactory synthesis of science and poetry.

To better align with the times, this inspiring creative also likes composing olfactory signatures for brands or places. As long as it’s about scents and emotions, the tireless dreamer’s imagination stops for nothing.

JULES DINAND
Designer

Grandson of Pierre Dinand, emblematic designer of 20th century perfume bottles _ Femme de Rochas, Eau Sauvage Dior (1966), Calandre Paco Rabanne (1969), Opium Yves Saint-Laurent (1977)…etc _ , Jules Dinand works today with his grandfather and both continue to imagine and create perfume bottles, true brand symbols and reveal the fragrances by magnifying their cases. Driven by the same passion and the same pleasure, it is now together that they co-create and give birth to projects such as HEADSPACE.

She follows in the footsteps of her Master Perfumer, Dominique Ropion.

NICOLAS BEAULIEU
Perfumer
The style of Nicolas is characterized by the enhancement of raw materials in the very respect of the olfactive ingredient. For this epicurean, found of vintage wines and gastronomy, inspiration comes from sensorial experiences: the encounter of a material fosters the desire of working on it.His sensitivity and his high-end technique nurture his virtuosity, and define him as a perfectionist olfactive poet.
CAROLINE DUMUR
Perfumer

All or nothing…. It was always obvious to Caroline Dumur that she would one day become a perfumer. Passion, although the word is not quite strong enough… had always been there but it was perfume more than anything else that she was fascinated by. Never giving up, a total belief in her vocation, Caroline Dumur is a defender of free and daring perfumery, not afraid of dark and mysterious materials, always in search of their true power.

JULIEN RASQUINET
Perfumer

Among our five senses, it seems that smell has a direct connection with memories and emotions.
Julien Rasquinet realized quite late, and thanks to the intuition of the famous perfumer Pierre Bourdon, that he was destined to creating perfumes and become Julien’s mentor.
Julien discovered another passion when he first went to the Middle East, he fell in love with Oriental perfumery.
Julien’s inspiration always comes from an encounter; whether it is a person, a song, a sentence in a book, or a place. From those encounters Julien extracts sensations such as textures, colors, raw materials that will become the base of the story he has been creating in his mind.
